Open the Grace {Day Twelve} 40 Gifts for 40 Days

“The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27:1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:30‬ ‭NIV‬‬

In this week focused on Giving, we’ve taken up His strength.

We’re not giving up.

We’re not giving in.

We’re taking this opportunity on the journey to lighten our load.

Stop for a moment, Love.

Empty out the pack.

Time to lay down all those things that don’t belong—

Things that are too heavy to carry.

We’re giving them up, laying them down today—

Giving up Fear.

Giving up Anxiety.

Giving Up Worry.

Giving up Brokenness.

Giving up Past Mistakes.

Giving up Worthlessness.

Giving up the Need to Measure Up.

Giving up Hurts & Heartaches.

Even giving up the things we’ve called “good,” so we can have the very best.

Because shadow living isn’t good enough anymore.

Halfway isn’t good enough anymore.

Heaviness and heartache aren’t good enough anymore.

& we don’t have to

Fix,

Manage,

or Control

to get there…

Speak It Over Your Life Today

All we have to do is walk into the light.

Today’s Gift Is the Light of God

Open the Grace {Day Twelve} 40 Gifts for 40 Days

He’s already provided it.

Today let’s look for every drop of light on our path.

He’s our help, our direction, our peace.

It’s going to get clearer.

It’s going to get better, Beloved.

We don’t have to make it happen ourselves.

Stand Assured.

It’s Christ Alone.

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:105‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
