From the first moment He formed life out of the dust, we see His grace that finds us right where we are—even in the dust and the ashes.
His gift from Day One is the breath of life He breathes in our lungs.
His life infused into our very being—giving us our first breath.
We owe it all to the Savior.
{Day One: Breath of Life}
Today marks the first day of Lent. We begin with Ash Wednesday, a day that considers our human frailty and death. “Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust.” It’s a day focused on fasting and repentance for sin.
This day begins a 40 Day journey to the cross of Christ—a 40 Day journey to a resurrection life. Just as Jesus fasted 40 Days in the wilderness, so we also walk with the Savior and remember Him.
We hope you join us throughout this time leading up to Resurrection Sunday. We’ll be sharing each day on the blog, leaving Sundays open as a day of worship and reflection.
Each day on this journey, we are also looking for the gifts God has left for us along the way—already prepared, already there. We recognize the grace on our lives—gifts already given by the Savior.
Come and experience the life of the Savior wrapped up in our lives.
Come and receive the gift He has for you in this season.
Come and Open the Grace.
